Are we technologically overloaded? Are our students? If you had to give up ONE piece of technology that you use on a daily basis, what would it be?? If you were stuck on an island (that happened to have wireless....lol) what one piece of technology would you want with you??
Wow, this is a tough one. I think I could give up TV, but there is no way I could go without internet or my cell phone. I remember first moving into my house and not having internet. I was going crazy!
ReplyDeleteI supposed on the island i would choose a laptop with wireless. I could use icall or skype to talk to someone off the island so it's basically like having a cell phone.
I could soooo go without my television! I probably watch maybe an hour a day and that's usually the ten o'clock news! If I were stuck on an island the one thing I would definitely want with me would be my fully charged iPhone! I could make calls, text, email, blog, tweet, and surf the web!
ReplyDeleteI would give up my cell phone. I am not that social of a person, so that would not bother me at all. If I was on an island that had wireless, the only item I would want would be my laptop. You can do just about everything on those.
ReplyDeleteI would give up my television. I don't watch it regularly and end up deleting most of the shows I TiVo. There is not way I could ever give up my computer; this has become a full-fledged addiction. I use it to communicate, research, network, ... you get the picture. I could not function without it.
ReplyDeleteTelevision. Phones have come a long way so if I just had to watch something I would use my phone but I'd rather read a book than watch TV, serf the web, or talk/text on the phone.
